The motion to accept Associate Membership has passed., Effective November 1, 2008
A company may become an Associate Member and attend meetings of the ICA if they:
1) Pay annual dues established at $2,000 per year for Associate Members
2) Must be in good standing with the Association and its’ mission and objectives
As stated below:
"The ICA mission is helping manufacturing companies to establish a favorable operating environment, by providing a forum for discussion on noncompetitive issues and by providing information to assist them in their business."
Objectives:
a. To be a research center, to provide analysis on converter manufacturing operations and other relevant market information.
b. To be a technical center providing commentary, guidance, and advice on all developments of relevance to paper converters.
c. To provide a forum for the exchange of noncompetitive information.
d. To promote the paper converting industry.
3) Associate Members may attend and participate in Association meetings and events, except they may not, as excluded below:
A) Can not serve on the Board but may serve on other Committees that may be
formed (i.e. technical, et cetera).
B) They have NO voting rights
C) Are limited to 3 participants or attendees per meeting, it is up to the Associate
Member to decide who participates on their behalf.
D) They are excluded from any FULL MEMBER OR VOTING RIGHTS MEMBER only events, should one be called or an issue arise that is member only business. This would be duly noted and scheduled.
